This is my blog about science, technology, philosophy and life.

The name “constantly underwhelmed” comes from my feelings about society. There is a tremendous, amazing and ever expanding array of technologies available to us as humans. Additionally, there have been numerous wise individuals through the millenia who have given us simple instructions on how to live together peacefully and harmoniously. In almost every case we ignore or persecute these individuals and usually choose the least capable technology for a given application.

This blog will serve as documentation for my attempts at understanding how humans are so adept at never choosing the best option.
